Centurally located between the world super powers of China, Russia and Japan, Korea’s significance as an international meeting destination has never been stronger. Since the turn of the century, Korea has opened major convention centers as well as completing a grand-scale renovation of the showcase COEX in Seoul. With the successful hosting of the FIFA 2002 World Cup Soccer Championships and the 2002 Asian Games, Korea has proven that its infrastructure and personnel stand ready to handle meetings of any size.
