Description for Main spot

1. Kaesong Namdaemun

Kaesong Namdaemun located in center and south side of Kaesong was built from end of Goryo Dynasty to beginning of the Chosun Dynasty. But it was destroyed when Korea had 6.25 wars, so it has been rebuilt and completed in 1954. Nowadays Namdamun is representing as detail, decorated gate with technique, which takes over Goryo dynasty building construction.

2. Seonjuk Bridge

Seonjuk Bridge is a stone bridge width 2.54, High 6.67m, before it was called ¡°Seonjigyo¡± (Seonji means blood) after story of loyalist Jeong mong ju who was killed by son of Lee sung gae(first King of CHOSUN), his bloodstain was stay on and fine bamboo grows in that spot. So it made this bridge called ¡°Seonjukgyo¡±(From letter of ¡°Seon-juk-gyo¡±, Seon means Blood and middle letter Juk means Bamboo.)

3. Goryo Museum

Goryo Museum replaces first education center ¡°Gukjagam¡±(public education center) in Goryo dynasty. This building was destroyed in Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 and rebuilt in early 17 century. Inside of Goryo museum displays 4 separate pavilions. Each pavilion contains Goryeo celadon (porcelain), metal type, etc. About 1000 types of Goryo relics is being displayed. In outdoor exhibition hall is displaying Hunwhasa 7th Fl tower, Hungguksa and ¡°seoktap¡± (stone pagoda). These are all national treasure of North Korea.

4. Bakyoen waterfall

Bakyeon waterfall is one of most famous waterfall in Chosun dynasty. Include Guryoung waterfall (Mt. Kumgang), Daesung waterfall (Mt.seorak) we call these water falls most beautiful waterfalls in Korea. Bakyeon waterfall flows 37 feet and 1.5m in width. Between Mt.Cheonma and Mt.Seongger it is scenic masterpieces that water winds through the rocks and all around is like a one great screen with fabulous view. Up side of waterfalls shaped gourd dipper, and it contains circumference 120m ¡°Bakyeon¡± pond and ¡°Gomodam¡± pond in the bottom part.

Banned items list and other regulations

1. Banned items

- Mobile phones and other communications devices are not permitted. You should keep your mobile at Dorasan CIQ when you issue the ID. When the tour will be finished, you can get that back.
- Cameras with telephoto lenses of more than 160mm and binoculars with zooming capabilities of 10 times or more are banned.
-Battery chargers, PDAs, notebook computers, calculators & CDP, and MP3 players.(All Banned items will be put in the safety box until the tour ends and be back to south area)
- Except private medicine All Medicines (Drugs) with no prove of ingredient, uses, poison, toxic chemicals are not permitted.
- Except guidebook and personal readable. Over size printed matters, picture, keyboard and recording tape is not permitted. Counterfeit note is not permitted
- Weapon, bullet, explosive, military supplies, deadly weapon, inflammables are not permitted.
- Items from a plague spot are not permitted to carry in
- Others (not suitable to carrying around for tour)

2. Other regulations

1) Photographing
- Not allow taking a picture while you transfer to north side and in the DMZ area.
- Not allow taking a picture with Kaesong city background.
- You should not focus the lens of a camera to North Korean, soldiers, and guide for any purpose.
- Please remind that If you offend against the rules that you will have to pay penalty ($10~$100)

2) Use of money
- Mainly Dollar is acceptable and credit card is also available.

3) Preparation.
- Suitable clothes and comfortable shoes
- No passport! No tour!
